Land-only programmes for overseas agents in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos
We are a ground handler. We build, quote and operate the land part of trips in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos for travel agents and tour operators abroad, who sell them under their own name. We do not sell to individual travellers.

How we run a departure
Rooming lists, guide briefings, on-trip support and changes: operations, and border crossings for groups.
If you work in product or operations at an agency, this is the order most people read it in: one sample programme, then the page on how a land quote is built, then the booking steps. Everything on this site is written for that reader. There is no consumer checkout and no published price list.
What we sell, and who we sell it to
We sell the land: hotels, ground transport, guides, boats, entrance tickets, the meals named in the programme, and the domestic or regional flights that join the countries when you ask us to include them. International flights into and out of the region stay with you.
The buyer is always a business. A tour operator in Europe that runs a catalogue of Indochina departures, a specialist agent in Australia with a handful of private clients a month, a retail chain that needs a reliable series every Thursday in high season. Your clients travel under your brand; our guides and drivers know whose clients they are carrying.
| Format | Typical size | What it needs from us |
|---|---|---|
| FIT land programme | 1 to 8 travellers, private | Fast quoting, named hotels, a guide who can adapt a day |
| Series group | Fixed dates through a season | Hotel allotments, coach planning, a stable guide roster |
| Tailor-made group | One departure, one brief | A programme built around a theme, a date or a client request |
The three formats are priced and operated differently. A series group is not a large FIT, and a tailor-made group is not a series with one date. The programme list shows which format each sample was written for.
From request to arrival, in five steps
- 01
You send a request
Dates, group size, hotel level, the clients' nationality mix and any sample programme you are starting from.
- 02
We return an itemised quote
Each service on its own line, with what is included, what is not, and what the price depends on.
- 03
You confirm, we book
Each line moves to confirmed, waitlisted or on request, and you see which.
- 04
Rooming list and final documents
Names exactly as in passports, room types, flights; we issue vouchers and the guide brief.
- 05
We operate on the ground
Guides, drivers and an operations contact for the tour leader, with changes reported back to you.
Timings for each step — how long a quote stays valid, when the rooming list is due, which cancellation scale applies in which season — are agreed in the agency contract, not set on this website. The booking page explains what each step involves.
Sample programmes agents resell
| Programme | Days | Countries | Written for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic Vietnam and Cambodia | 12 | Vietnam, Cambodia | Private FIT |
| Indochina series group | 15 | Vietnam, Cambodia | Series groups |
| Northern Vietnam and Luang Prabang | 10 | Vietnam, Laos | FIT or small group |
| Mekong Delta to Angkor | 8 | Vietnam, Cambodia | FIT or tailor-made group |
Each one is a template. Agents change the hotels, cut or add nights, swap a day trip, put it under their own name and sell it. Rates are not published: net rates on request for registered agents, quoted per trip.
What a land quote from us shows
- Every hotel by name and room category, not by star rating alone
- Vehicle size per sector, and whether a guide travels on transfer days
- Guide language and whether the guide is local to each city or travels with the group
- Which meals are included, by day, and which are left free
- Boats, cruises and entrance tickets, each as a separate line
- Domestic and regional flights as a separate block, because fares move between quote and ticketing
What a quote leaves out matters as much. International flights, visas, travel insurance, drinks and tips stay outside the land price. The pricing page goes through the variables that move a land quote and the shortcuts that make one look cheaper than it is.
Where we are the wrong ground handler
- Individual travellers looking to book a trip directly: we only work through agencies and tour operators.
- Conferences, incentives and corporate events: we do not run MICE programmes.
- Agents who need a single transfer or a visa letter on its own: we quote full land programmes, not stand-alone services.
- Sectors outside Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos: another ground handler has to take them.
We do not publish net rates or supplier prices on this site. Registered agents receive them per trip, in writing.
Common questions
Questions agents ask
Do you sell trips directly to travellers?
No. Indochina Land Tour sells only to travel agents and tour operators, who sell the trip to their own clients under their own brand.
If a traveller contacts us directly, we ask which agent they are working with.
Why are there no prices on the programme pages?
Because a land price depends on dates, group size, hotel choice and the clients' nationality, and a number without those is misleading.
Registered agents receive net rates per trip, itemised, after sending a request.
Can we put the programmes under our agency's name?
Yes. The sample programmes are written to be resold. You can rename them, change hotels and nights, and publish them in your own catalogue.
Which countries do you operate on the ground?
Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Programmes that start or finish in another country are possible only if another ground handler takes that sector.
